Basha rejects Rama’s coronavirus measures: Expired masks don’t protect doctors, we’re not in a war

Following Prime Minister Edi Rama’s statement on the protective masks distributed to all healthcare personnel nationwide, opposition leader Lulzim Basha has dismissed the allegations saying that the masks are ‘beyond the expiry date’ and as such cannot be a safeguard for medical personnel.

“Finally he accepted the truth. The masks are expired. As such they cannot be a safeguard for medical personnel. Edi Rama, gather your head and ensure the lives of the citizens! Leave the empty talk and focus on the main problem! We are not at war, we are in an emergency situation that requires seriousness and responsibility. And not expired masks on expired faces, ” writes Basha.
