The Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, reacted on Facebook abuot the
justice reform, saying that the opposition is determined for a reform
based on the Venice Commission recommendations.
One day after the US Ambassador criticized him, Basha accused the government of unilaterally trying to make constitutional amends, without consensus.
“The opposition, I personally, reported the government games and we stand to our decision: without a materialization of recommendation 88 from the Venice Commission, the opposition will give no vote”, Basha declared.
He underlined that the DP wants nothing more and accepts nothing less than a full implementation of recommendation 88.
