The Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, reacted after the Rama-Merkel
meeting, valuing the support that Germany offers to Albania with the
integration process.
“Albania is lucky to have Germany’s support in its efforts to progress with the EU integration. We are especially grateful to Chancellor Merkel for her constant support and understanding”, Basha said.
The DP leader guaranteed the Chancellor and the German people that Albanians are determined to embrace all European values and build a society which will be decent for everyone, and will also fight crime, drug and corruption, by freeing politics from them”.
