Basha reacts after banned from Parliamentary session: “Social peace at risk”

“When the free speech is violated, the violators are the ones to leave, not the opposition”, Basha declared on his social networks.

Basha was banned by Speaker Ruci because he refused to leave the podium after his speaking time expired, despite being warned several times for occuppying it, and other opposition MPs got up in his support during the session.

In a press release, Basha said the Parliament is the place where the opposition exerts its right to free speech. “If this right is violated, it’s because Ruci and Rama fear the truth of our Albania that is living under crime, which is now cooperating with both Rama and Ruci”, he declared. 

“If this Parliament will bring back the dictatorial system that kept Albania in the dark for 50 years, our social peace is endangered”, Basha declared.
