The Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, considered Rama’s first
speech for the new Parliamentar term as “an empty and superficial
presentation”.
“Older generations were reminded by this speech of what the former communists used to say. This is unforgivable for any Prime Minister”, Basha declared.
He said that a high number of Albanians expect nothing from Edi Rama, and this, according to Basha, is a shame for whoever holds the keys of the current government.
“He said nothing about the 300.000 of jobs that he promised. He sent 300.000 Albanians in immigration. Our economy is destroyed, our prices have increased, and we don’t have a proper health care system”, Basha said, adding that Rama 2 acts as if he doesn’t know Rama 1, refusing to hold responsibilities.
Basha added that the role of the opposition will be that of bringing back hope among Albanians, which, according to him, cannot happen in this puppet show.
