The Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, declared that their party is the alliance of the best values of Albanians.
“DP has made sacrifices these 27 years, and we did the same in 2017. Our battle will continue every day because our interest is not power, but the interest of our country and of every citizen”, Basha declared.
The DP leader accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of defending Saimir Tahiri.
“Saimir Tahiri took millions from the drug traffic and he is still free. Estref Halili, a 22-year-old boy, hanged himself a year ago in prison, for 2 grams of cannabis. The entire government is moving today for Saimir Tahiri, but none of them said anything about the 22-year-old who died for one cigarette of cannabis. Rama turned himself into a judge and prosecutor for defending Saimir Tahiri. After appointing the new Prosecutor General, Tahiri had his passport back and Orest Sota was set free because Rama wants the case to be closed immediately, because this is the end of his government”, Basha declared.
