Basha: “Rama should not give lectures to NATO members”

The Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, criticized the declaration of
the Albanian Prime Minister at the NATO summit that is being held in
Tirana.

“Before giving lectures to the countries which founded NATO, and to the generals who have more stars that the organization itself, Rama should probably fulfill his obligations in Albania first”, Basha said.

“Edi Rama has reduced the national defense budget to the lowest historic quota for the past 27 years, at 0.75% of the GDP, as no other NATO member. Rather than guaranteeing a budget that is decent for our armed forces, for increasing their training and operating capacities, Rama has painted buildings and secured luxury for his personal offices, and hundreds of other millions in scandalous tenders, as discovered by the Supreme State Audit”, Basha declared.
