Basha: “Rama is sabotaging Vetting Law”

The Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, accused PM Rama of trying to sabotaging the Vetting Process with its first step.
The DP leader referred to the unilateral decision of the Socialist
Party to lower the payment of the members of vetting commissions.
“This
way, the vetting will only be in the hands of the directors ran by Edi
Rama, and this is what he wanted since the beginning”, Basha said.
Basha
reiterated the Rama should decide if he will be with gangs or with
justice. “He cannot be leader of the Elbasan and Vlora gangs, and behave
as champion of justice”, Basha said.
He warned that the
Democratic Party will propose amends in Parliament, in support of the
requests made by the Vetting commissioners.
As for the electoral
reform, Basha said he is ready for a meeting with the Prime Minister,
but, according to him, this is not the problem.
“I have sat with
Rama and I will sit even with his successor for the electoral reform,
but the problem is if we will resolve anything”, Basha declared.
