The Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, accused the government for
drug traffic, and considered absurd Prime Minister’s declaration that
the cannabis problem in Albania was resolved.
“The person who denied the drug problem for three years, blessing Albania’s return as the main drug country of Europe, declared today that he has resolved this problem. No trafficker has been arrested so far. No organization has been hit. We have seen no concrete results. The Prime Minister declared victory for a war that did not happen”, Basha said.
For Basha, the organized crime in Albania has turned into a political problem for the European Union, putting our country’s EU integration into risk, and not only, but it also could bring back the visa regime for Albania.
