The Mayor of Tirana, Lulzim Basha, accused the Prime Minister of
avoiding the confrontation he demanded one day ago, by inviting him in a
debate about the unrealized projects fo the Municipality, which,
according to Basha, are being blocked by Rama, who is currently
attending the 2-day NATO summit in Wales.

“The Albanian Prime Minister is trying to evade confrontation about the truth of the political blockage in Tirana. But Edi Rama will not be able to avoid his responsibilities in front of the Tirana citizens about this unseen act in the history of pluralist Albania, a hostile act against the citizens and their interests”, the Mayor declared.

Basha accused the Prime Minister of blocking thousands of new jobs in Tirana by stopping the projects of the Municipality. “Unemployment is a big open wound of our city, and the priority of the Municipality, although we are not the main responsibles for the economic situation, was to create 25.000 jobs in Tirana, but thousands of others have been blocked by Edi Rama”.

The Mayor of Tirana inaugurated the works for the reconstruction of the Kindergarten no.1 in Tirana, a project for improving an existing area and for adding 50 square meters. The investment mounts up to 20 million ALL.
