The Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, met with his party leaders in Albania’s district acts, and then with the parliamentary group, to discuss the protest warned for this Monday.
Basha said that the step taken by the majority to appoint the new Prosecutor General with its own votes, it’s the most anti-constitutional act in the past 27 years.
“The Constitution is the only document that divides peace from war, democracy from dictatorship”, Basha said.
The DP leader said that Rama is committing suicide for himself and for the majority by taking this decision for the Prosecutor General.
“If the narcotic government takes control of the Prosecution, this is a total elimination of the judiciary reform”, Basha said.
Basha declared that the protest of this Monday will show if the opposition is just a façade or not.
