The Ministry of Finances declared that the public debt was reduced at 69.9% in 2017, but the opposition claims it is the contrary.
“The debt has increased, but the interest rates have dropped. Until 2013, interest rates were almost double of what they are today. The debt was not reduced. It has increased. Edi Rama has created a higher debt for Albanians, and he cannot justify it because they have not built any major work. The money was taken for abusive schemes”, Basha declared.
According to Basha, the debt is still increasing secretly: “They will pay 70 million EUR this year for corruptive concessions. This is the hidden debt”, Basha declared.
