The Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, underlined in a press release
one day after the opposition’s protest that the marching of Albanians
was a clear message of the support that the Democratic Party has for its
plan to remove the political and economic crisis.
“The citizens and businesses want solution. Yesterday on the sidewalk there were people whose houses and businesses were ruined. Former students who were lied to by this government, a government that promised access to education but closed universities. They passed a law for their clients. They humiliated the persecuted people once again, after Edi Rama raised again symbols of the dictatorship. Former land owners do not want the new expropriation law. The retired people don’t see higher pensions for the past two years. The unemployed are on the rise due to the shrinking economy. The disappointed socialists were on the march yesterday, because their political family is being led by a bunch of criminals. An entire people was there and I thank them”, Basha said.
The DP leader added that the protests will continue and that the civil disobedience has just started.
