Basha: “Ndoka’s resignation, consequence of DP’s initiative for decriminalization”

The Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, reacted on Facebook after
Arben Ndoka resigned from his mandate as Parliament Member. Basha said
this was a success of the two-year-long initiative of the opposition for
the decriminalization of the Albanian Parliament.
He blamed Prime Minister Rama of not including the draft law for decriminalization in the Parliament’s agenda. Basha said that Rama blocked and delayed the law several times, despite the engagement of the European Parliament with the agreement of December 24th.
Basha promised that the DP will not stop its efforts, despite the obstacles, especially because they have the support of the international community on this issue.
The opposition leader concluded that Albania belongs to the honest and hard-working people, and cannot allow being ruled by the crime, which brings only poverty and misery.
