Basha meets with the WB

The Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, received he delegation of the
World Bank, led by the Deputy President for Europe and Central Asia.
Basha shared with them the opposition’s concern regarding the
deterioration of the economic and fiscal indicators, the lack of
transparency and the insecurity created the lack of the rule of law in
the country.
Despite the taxes and excises, Basha declared that the government ha failed with the objectives for collecting revenues. Basha informed the World Bank delegation about their concern regarding the government’s violation of law and failure to respect the court decisions.
The World Bank representatives valued the exchanges of information and views with the opposition, and expressed their readiness to hold a constant dialogue with the Democratic Party.
