Basha meets Pacolli, supports Customs unification between Kosovo and Albania

The meeting was held in a very fraternal atmosphere, according to the Democratic Party press office, and both officials discussed matters of joint interest.

Basha congratulated Pacolli for his duty and guaranteed him that the DP would support the new government of Kosovo. He wished him to succeed with the many challenges that Kosovo and its people are facing right now.

The opposition leader updated Pacolli with the political development in Albania, underlining the vital need for stability and a future in the EU, listing free and fair elections as of key importance to achieve this.

The DP leader said they support the integration between Kosovo and Albania, and underlined that this should be with a complete engagement, not a superficial one.
