The Democratic Party appears to be following the scenario warned by Sali
Berisha, trying to bring the government down through protests, with
students the ones to receive support.
“We appeal citizens to become part of this massive civil protest. We support the legal protest of students. We are with them and we want to undo this clientelist and corruptive law. The public education needs to receive the constitutional right to have affordable fees for every family”, Basha declared.
After several months of launching accusations against Ilir Meta, Basha started accusing PM Edi Rama, saying he is the most corrupted Prime Minister in Balkan.
The opposition leader is convinced this is the time to lead a revolt against the government:
“No one can accept a government that only steals and behaves like a gang with its citizens. There is no more time, there are no more reasons to not do it. Everybody’s hopes that this government could be corrected are over”, Basha declared.
