After his meeting with the allies, the Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, appealed citizens to join their protest on May 26th in Tirana.
“The united opposition appeals all Albanian citizens to join our great protest for removing criminals from power. I invite citizens to join us for removing Fatmir Xhafaj, Agron Xhafaj, the Habilaj and the Balilaj. We will stop the process of replacing criminals who served to Tahiri with the ones who serve to Xhafaj. We need an Interior Ministry and serves to the people, not an Interior Ministry which kidnaps innocent Kukes protesters from their homes while theyt serve to Artan and Moisi Habilaj and to Agron Xhafaj. We want a police where the Vetting Law starts with the Interior Minister, which has no ties with crime. We invite citizens to protest for a real and not false justice”, Basha declared.
