Lulzim Basha started the tour for internal elections in Kavaja, where he
underlined that the current majority is formed by buying votes and by
engaging gangs in elections.
Basha said it is time to take responsibility and learn from what happened in Kavaja, where the unification of all democrats, according to Basha, won the municipality against the crime and drug money.
He said that it is time to take responsibility, starting from himself.
“I didn’t come here to just congratulate you, or to take your applause, because this is time for me to take my responsibilities. Did we do what we could? Did we stand strong enough behind our causes we believed in, such as decriminalization, fight against drug, fight for justice and for free and fair elections? Let’s not consider this the end of a battle. Let’s consider it a station before the next battle to bring this regime down, once and for all, and give back hope to Albanians instead of fear”, Basha declared.
He added that Kavaja is the example that should inspire all Democrats.
