Lulzim Basha is determined to fulfill his functions as the mayor of Tirana, but as determined not to run again.
The decision is based on the promise he made 4 years ago when he ran against Edi Rama, that was leader of the previous opposition. He has now another battle with Edi Rama.
“I have decided not to run again for the mayor of Tirana, but to lead the opposition from village to village, from city to city. My mission as the head of DP is to lead the opposition to get rid of this government of the “knot in the neck”. My battle is with the Prime Minister. We beat him for the city of Tirana. We will beat him again for all the other cities”, declared Basha.
On Wednesday afternoon Lulzim Basha will meet all his allies of June 23-rd, with the exception of PJIU. They will formalize their demands, but the greatest hope for Basha is the alliance with the citizens.
