For the political situation to return to normality and for the political
forces to start a cooperation for the reforms, the condition of the
Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, is very clear:
“What we want today and what we will strongly demand in Parliament and everywhere else throughout Albania in our protests, is for the government to undo the consequences created by the illegal implementation of an anti-constitutional Normative Act, and return jobs without any condition to all the men, women and youth who have been discharged with the act. Not only publishing the decision on the Official Bulletin, but implementing this decision and withdrawing the draft law that destroys the public administration, would be the first signal that the majority and its government is reflecting from the message given by the popular protest and our parliamentary battle. Otherwise, the opposition will not be part of the undoing of democracy in Albania”, Basha declared.
