Basha: “Everything is getting worse”

The DP leader, Lulzim Basha, participated at the DP Electoral Covenant
in Elbasan, where he underlined that the difficult economic situation,
uncertainty for life and property, and the violation of democratic
standards is what today’s majority is offering to the people.
“The public order is worse, people’s safety is worse, the economy is worse. There is only stagnation and no light at the end of the tunnel. The most used words by the young people in Elbasan and all Albania is the lack of hope. Businesses have been constantly hit by higher taxes and legal uncertainty. People are on the limit of working for surviving or bankruptcy, a situation that is throwing people each day on the roads, with the number of murders, robberies and attacks against citizens has increased each month if compared even with 2013, which was a difficult year, because it was an electoral year”, Basha declared.
Basha underlined that the appointing of people with a criminal past in police posts is something that deserves an answer by the DP, and that is by appointing the best and most dedicated people in leading posts.
