In the interview for Top Channel, Prime Minister Edi Rama expressed the
necessity of the majority to realize a justice reform as a courageous
solution to a big national problem, not to trick citizens with a
political deal sold as consensus.
Rama’s declaration on social networks brought the reaction of the DP leader, Lulzim Basha, who accused Rama once again of trying to capture the justice system to defend the criminals he has hired in municipalities, public offices and Parliament.
“He calls consensus for justice a political deal, the man who made the deals with customs, tax office, with Shullazi and Habilaj, with bids and concessions, with Nushi and Beqaj”, Basha said.
The Democratic Party leader said that the consensus is not required by the opposition, but by the Venice Commission.
“This is the path that saves justice from political control. Consensus removes the deals, it is quite the contrary”, Basha added.
But, according to the opposition leader, this is exactly what scares Rama.
“A fair justice would be a serious problem with the man who shared 600 million EUR with CEZ, who gave a 360 million EUR concession to his friends. Fair justice is a problem for him who is responsible for stealing 777 million EUR in bids, 400 million USD in customs. It would be a problem for Prenga, Ndoka, Bushi, roshi, Peci and other gangsters of Edi Rama, for Kokedhima, Tahiri, Beqaj, Ahmeti, Gjiknuri and the leader of this gang himself”, Basha said.
Basha spoke of blackmail cases that Rama holds for his ally, Ilir Meta, and the opponents within his party, and the other corrupted people of his political class.
Basha closed his Facebook reaction by answering to Rama’s declaration that doesn’t exclude a justice reform referendum.
“The name of the referendum is early elections, the chance of citizens to give their final judgement to his failed, corrupted and criminal governing”, Basha said.
