The Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, declared that heroin and cocaine have turned into the main activities of criminal groups, and that the millions of Euros from drug money are destroying the economy.
“The seized cocaine could not cross the country without political guarantee. The millions of Euros of the drug industry are destroying our economy. The economy cannot function when the biggest activity is drug. No activity can compete drugs”, Basha declared.
The DP leader added: “This proves what the USA and EU have said, that Albania has turned into the main base of drug traffic in Europe. We are serving as a base for sending drug in EU countries. Same as in the Xibraka case, this time they have arrested the drivers, but not the bosses. They will never be arrested until Edi Rama runs the country. This problem can be resolved only by removing Edi Rama”, Basha declared.
