Lulzim Basha, the leader of the Democratic Party, accused the Albanian
government of making a corruption of extraordinary proportions.

”150 million USD are missing from the budget. Citizens have paid taxes, but nothing has turned into jobs. 150 million USD have been stolen by the Rama-Meta duo”, Basha declared.

Basha accused the government of using incriminated structures in these elections.

“It will not work! Not even the appointing of those who have to answer for bank robberies in high-level police posts of Burrel. Police officers should not accept illegal orders from people who should be brought to justice, rather than keeping uniforms. They are known by the DP, by Washington and by Brussels. They will answer, so take your distance”, the DP leader declared.

Basha answered to the Prime Minister, who said that the opposition is making promises they cannot keep:

“They are lying to you. They are telling you that these are local elections, that this is not the time to talk about taxes, about poverty, about unemployment. Isn’t unemployment and poverty the biggest problem? Then listen, you liars! Edi Rama and Ilir Meta! Prices will get lower”, Basha added.

Basha is appealing undecided socialists to vote for the DP.

“We are not adversaries for wanting to reduce prices, to raise salaries, but we are brothers and sisters. Join us to give a good lesson to these liars. This is the day to stop the evil”, Basha added.
