Basha: Budget increases unemployment

The Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, announced the 39 budget
amends that the opposition wants to offer for the draft brought by the
Rama government.

According to Basha, the amends proposed by the DP are based on the interest groups and promises made by Rama during the campaign, promises that according to Basha have all been broken.

“Tge current government lies when Rama says that they have reduced the tax on profit. They are raising taxes for small, middle and big business, for retired people and every citizen, even those who are not employed. This tax increase not only will not stimulate economic growth, but it will reduce the business’ capacity to guarantee employment”, Basha declared.

The opposition leader declared that PM Rama had promised during the electoral campaignto remove the tax on basic food, but it is not seen in the draft project, and we also don’t see free legalizations for houses, another promise of Rama.

“Rama’s draft project has no free health care, and the health care contribution have increase four to eight times so far. Rama promised to reduce the oil price for agriculture. There is no debt limit in the project, another promise of this campaign.  Rama has also promised to pardon all fines from January 1st, and that has not happened”, Basha declared.

The DP leader also said that it is a lie that the oil price will be raised only for those who have one car, and that the tax increase will cause an increase of all consumption goods.
