The Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, is attending the political
assembly of the European Popular Party, which is being held in
Copenhagen, gathering all leaders of European right-wing parties.
At the Assembly, Basha made a summary of the actual political situation in Albania and shared with the right-wing European politicians his vision for the future of the DP and opposition.
He underlined the importance of reforming the electoral system and bring to an end the history of manipulated elections.
Basha discussed the challenges our country faces for European integration, and received support from sister parties in Europe, according to the DP press release.
Basha also was promised direct support from the EPP parties, and also assistance and advise for opposition’s strategy.
