The Democratic Party announced a rally against the economic situation on February 20th.
Speaking on the meeting of the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group, Lulzim Basha invited citizens to protest on the 23rd anniversary of the toppling of former dictator’s statue, against the bad situation that, according to Basha, citizens are facing today.
Basha underlined said that facts are showing that the economy is threatened more than ever and unemployment has affected for the first time 186.000 people.
“Rama promised 300.000 jobs, and by September they should have created 70.000”, Basha declared.
The Democratic Party leader asked the review of policies for pensions, agriculture and the people in need.
“The amateur package of the government will bring the economy to crisis, for the first time”, Basha declared.
According to him, the Democratic Party will continue offering alternatives and realistic perspectives for the path that needs to be followed for saving the economy.
