The Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, commented the invitation of
the Socialist Party and Socialist Movement for Integration to the
European Popoular Parties.
said that there will be no elections in Albania without a technical government.
“We can have free and fair elections only with a technical government. The SP and SMI are asking the EPP to help them with the negotiations. They can seek help wherever they want, but there will be no elections without a technical government in Albania. The more time you steal from Albanians, the bigger will be the price to pay, and rest asured that I will do everything possible so that you are the ones paying the price”, Basha said.
He said that for the dialogue they have agreed nine days ago for a technical government, and that this is not about trust.
“We have agreed about dialogue nine days ago, for a technical government to allow free and fair elections. It is not Basha in a situation of mistrust. It is you, with each other. I am very clear. This is an incriminated government and it should be removed from office. You have an option for a technical government. There will be no other option”, Basha said.
