The Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, went once again to the defense of journalists, saying that Rama’s speech held yesterday was criminal.
“Rama’s speech against journalists is criminal. He is encouraging hate and violence against journalists with this reaction. The climate that Rama is creating encourages criminals to attack journalists who report crime and corruption. The man who has only praised Elvis Rroshi, Saimir Tahiri and other criminals, must stop his dangerous language right away”, Basha said.
PM Rama reacted after this speech and reminded the opposition leader the tent and his speeches for the media.
“Lulzim Basha, you, and not me, were inside a tent last year, declaring that all media outlets were being paid by drug clans, except for one TV which you recommended as the best source. I have never imagined this, let alone say such a thing. It is just slander. That’s why you must apologize to all media outlets, Rama said.
