Basha: Albanians don’t need anymore shows

The Democratic Party leader visited the most northern village of the
Gjirokaster Municipality, the Cepo commune, where he commented the Prime
Minister’s behavior in this campaign.
“He goes around Albania to make shows and humor, but Albanians have no reason to laugh”, the opposition leader declared.
According to Lulzim Basha, the reason for this is because Edi Rama has not kept his promises.
“The tax increase was one of the biggest lies for the Albanian people. They promised to reduce taxes for 97% of the Albanian people and raised them for 100%”, Basha declared.
Cepo and Lunxheria are farming areas. Basha says that the government has forgotten the promsies for subventioning farmers.
“Only a small group of people close to he government are taking the subvention money. Farmers are not seeing anything”, he added.
Basha said that this situation is getting worse due to corruption, which, according to him, is seen with the absence of 125 million USD in 5 months, despite the tax raise. The Shkoder residents also complained about this phenomenon.
