The Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, posted a Facebook post presenting the vision of the party he leads.
“Small businessmen showed today throughout the country that they will not stay silent in front of the arbitration. They will not allow that their hard work gets stolen by Edi Rama and his clients. They want an Albania with honest competition and justice. This Albania will turn into a reality only when politics is no longer captured and when Albania is liberated by the political and economic oligarchy. This is the vision and will of the Democratic Party”, Basha wrote.
He said that the inclusion of the small business in the VAT system is a hit against the economy and Albania itself.
“Small businessmen are the motor of every economy and society. They create employment, development and welfare. There is no economic or public reason for Rama’s decision against the small business. There are only two private reasons: favouring oligarchs and creating the right condition for a private PPP for VAT”, Basha declared.
