“I want to tell the Albanian Prime Minister that his threats through
criminals will not be successful”, declared Lulzim Basha, the opposition
leader, when he accused the Albanian Prime Minister of threatening him
physically through Emiljano Shullazi.

The opposition leader says that the Prime Minister wants to establish what he calls a regime of silence by not allowing the opposition to speak, as he said: “Through the violence scheme of ‘you haven’t seen anything yet’ that he said on the day when he took his oath in Parliament. A scheme that, according to the Democratic Party leader, was followed by physical aggressions against the opposition in Parliament.

“A few days ago, Edi Rama took another step. He inspired a gang member as Emiliano Shullazi, who is surrounded by government favors of day, to threaten the opposition once again, more specifically, me, as the Democratic Party leader.  Edi Rama doesn’t understand that his scheme is a failure. The Democratic Party has never met with fear, and never will do”, Basha declared.

By the end of his declaration, the opposition leader had a message for the Albanian citizens:

“I want to tell the Albanian citizens, despite their political convictions, that we are more determined than ever to face this evil We will continue our battle against the criminal ties and will decriminalize the government, politics and the public sphere in general. Every scenario of Edi Rama will fail miserably”, Basha declared.
