The President of the European Commission, Jose Manuel Barroso, will visit
Albania on May 21st 2011, heading a high level official delegation.
To be notified for his visit, the Albanian President, Bamir Topi, held today a meeting with the head of the EU delegation in Tirana, Ettore Sequi.
President Topi discussed with the ambassador Sequi about the pre-election situation in the country.
President Topi emphasized the necessity of performing a calm and civilized campaign.
The head of the EU delegation in Tirana, ambassador Sequi, noted the vital significance that May 8th elections have on the integration of Albania in EU.
