Museum Nights is a cycle of lecture about the Bank of Albania, with guests from various sectors.

The Central Bank of Albania has chosen this method to celebrate the 2nd anniversary of the Bank of Albania Museum.

Elisabeta Gjoni, first Vice Governor, said that the Museum Nights will have open lectures from famous figures of various sectors.

It will offer curiosities and knowledge about the objects displayed at the museum, which will be discussed in forums.

The first lecture was inaugurated by Artan Lame, a collector and scholar of Albanian history.

“The monetary circulation in Albania didn’t start with the Ottoman occupation. It’s much older than that. It starts with the antiquity, and continues with the Byzantine coin, which was followed by other systems used by the occupation influences”, Lame said.
