The Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, Belinda Balluku, declared that the project for the new section of the Tirana Ring Road has not been suspended.
She said that nobody will be able to withhold Tirana’s development, and that the Road Authority will be forced, from now on, to make public bids on live broadcast.
“The reason why I am communicating with you is because I want to end the media speculation about the Ring Road project. The families will not be thrown in the street, even when they don’t have a single document. There will be a meeting with Tirana Municipality specialists. I asked the Road Authority to prepare a live race, in front of the cameras”, Balluku declared.
