Employees of the Ballsh oil refinery have returned to protests over arrears of wages and work stoppages.
They have gathered as many other times in front of the refinery gates.
Oilmen ask the governing bodies to reflect on the fulfillment of their requirements and the start of refinery work.
It is learned that the Trade Union Council is discussing that on Monday the workers go on hunger strike near the premises of the oil Combine, as they see this option as the only solution.
Sokol Dautaj, head of the Ballsh oil workers’ union, says that despite numerous protests, no solution has been found so far: “We are in the middle of four roads. We went to Tirana to talk and no one received us. We will follow any legal path as now we have the association legalized in court. We have no answer either for salaries or restarting work.”
