Balla: Drug test, not in the decriminalization draft-law

The drug test will not be part of the draft-law for decriminalization,
according to Taulant Balla. He said that the parties have reached
consensus on this process that has been misused for political reasons.
“A process that was misused for political reasons is finally concluded. No politician will be able to make Albania appear as a cave of criminals. There is no chance to pass the ridiculous article of the drug test, which is not seen in any place of the world. I want to tell to those who proposed this to insult the image of Albania, they must make it statutory in their own party for drug, alcohol or diabetes”, Balla declared.
The DP representatives, Oerd Bylykbashi, said the constitutional amends will be a strong wall for those who claim to be using the law for political interests.
The Socialist Movement for Integration MP, Spartak Braho, confirmed reaching the consensus. After meeting with the US Ambassador, Donald Lu, the DP leader, Lulzim Basha, expressed his determination to not withdraw from the drug test.
