The Foreign Policy Committee at the European Parliament invited the Vice
Head of the Albanian Socialist Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla.
The committee led by the European MPs of the Socialst and Democrat group is led by the German Knut Fleckenstein, who is also rapporteur of Albania in the European Parliament.
The press office of the Socialist Party says that the European Parliament Members were informed by Balla about the electoral process in Albania.
Balla declared that the June 21st elections were a positive step ahead, compared to the past years.
The European Parliament Social Democratic Group supported the negotiations for Albania’s EU accession and underlined the necessity of the reforms in the judiciary system.
