Taulant Balla, Chairman of the Investigative Commission for the
privatization of the Energy Distribution Operator to the Czech company
“CEZ”, presented the final report that will be sent to the Parliament
and to the Prosecution General.
“CEZ has offered a much different bid from what had been approved later by the share transaction agreement. The Energy Regulation Entity has calculated the price increase requested by the Czech company in 2010”, Balla said.
According to Balla, 100 million EUR went in favor of CEZ, and the total profit for them was 415 million EUR. For Balla, the people responsible for this damage are former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, former Minister of Energy, Genc Ruli, former Deputy Minister of Energy Neritan Alibali and Enno Bozdo, including other unidentified people involved.
Besides these, Balla says that other people involved are Mimoza Vokshi, former Director of Trade Exchanges; Ridvan Bode, former Minister of Finances; Shkelzen Berisha, private person tied to the privatization process; Suzana Guxholli and former councilor Florian Mima, and also Ndue Kalaj, who has served as negotiator for the CEZ agreement. The last one, for Balla, is the Czech citizen, Josef Hajsek.
