The Minister of Integration, Klajda Gjoshaj, is visiting Brussels for
the sixth meeting of the Stabilization-Association Committee.
During this visit, Minister Gjosha planned a series of meetings with high-rank EU officials. The Minister held the first meeting with the Commissioner for Emigration, Interior Matters and Citizenship, M.Dimitris Avramopulos.
During this meeting, the Minister informed Mr.Avramopulos on the reforms that Albania is undertaking regarding the integration process, by expressing the maximal commitment of the Albanian government for advancing with this process.
“We are aware that there are many challenges ahead. We want to overcome them with the help of all member countries, whose support is very special for us. The Albanian government considers the integration process as the biggest national priority. We are determined to continue the support of our citizens with all actors in the path towards the EU”, Gjosha declared.
Commissioner Avramopulos declared that he encourages and supoprts Albania with their European aspiration. He underlines that the implementation of the reforms will allow the progress of Albania with this process.
“Albania is not alone in this path. We support you and we will keep assisting with our expertise and experience. I am convinced that this is a good chance for you, since you can learn from our mistakes and not repeat them. This depends on your vision and determination to realize a constructive process”, Avramopulos declared.
