Green light for the property titles of 5000 apartments in state-owned coastal lands.
Citizens who bought these apartments have not been able to take their property titles, since the owner had not purchased the terrain.
The Head of the Agency of Legalisation Urbanisation and Integration of Informal Zone/Building, Artan Lame, declared that the process for the self-declaration has started for these citizens, so that they do not get deprived of the property rights.
“Verifications show that 91 subjects have applied for 1200 apartments. 1200 apartments were bought by citizens. There are hundreds of subjects with 4000-5000 apartments sold to citizens who cannot register them, because they have been unable to declare them in the law of 2009”, Lame declared.
The self-declaration process for apartments in coastal areas starts on February 23rd and ends on April 24th. The head of ALUIZNI says that these objects have been identified at the Gjri I Lalzit, Golem, Shkembi I Kavajes, etc.
Lame explains that citizens will be able to receive information on the official website of the National Agency for Tourism, but they will also be notified through the media.
