Sources from the Durres Port say that a vessel with Austrian flag has made several appeals for help.
The yacht had its engines turned off, due to bad weather.
The Albanian authorities sent rescue operators, who are now assisting the three members on board.
The situation was taken under control and the yacht is being towed towards the port.
