First- to fifth-graders who have not been able to attend distance learning during the March-June period due to the coronavirus situation, will return to the school benches on 31 August, two weeks before the officials start of the academic year.
Each classroom will have no more than 10 children in it and where the distance between desks will be 1.5 m, in a 40 hours for two weeks teaching chedule. The lesson will start at 8 o’clock, while one subject will last 45 minutes.
According to surveys by the Ministry of Education on student participation in the online learning process with the closure of educational institutions, it resulted that approximately 10,000 children from pre-university education were not present in school due to the remote areas where they lived or were part of vulnerable groups.
