The US Ambassador, Alexander Arvizu, visited the fair and stopped at the
“Onufri” Publishing House stand, which, besides Ismail Kadare’s books,
published the winning book of Kadare’s wife, Helena, titled
“Insufficient Time”.
Mrs. Helena signed a copy of the book for Ambassador Arvizu.
Then Mr.Arvizu visited the “Mapo” Publishing House stand, which published the book of Ben Blushi, titled “Albania”.
The Diplomat declared that everyone in the embassy is interested about this book. He received a signed copy of the book by the author.
Another stand in which the US Ambassador showed interest was the Dudaj Publishing House, where Arvizu received a copy of the “Kurban” book, written by the Socialist Party leader, Edi Rama.
