Arvizu returns to Tirana with another task

The former US Ambassador, Alexander Arvizu, has returned to Tirana but
this time with another task, as Assistant Secretary of State for
International Drug Traffic and Rule of Law, accompanied by Donald Lu and
PM Ilir Meta.
The Parliament’s press release says that Meta and Arvizu spoke about the Justice Reform progress, cooperation for the rule of law and for the fight against drug traffic, organized crime and corruption.
“Alexander Arvizu valued the consensual passing of justice reform constitutional amends, and expressed the gratitude of the USA for the role that Parliament Speaker Ilir Meta played in the final phase of the voting”, the announcement says.
Meta and Arvizu discussed on how to reinforce cooperation b etween Albania and the USA in the fight against drug traffic and organized crime.
