The United States ambassador to Tirana, Alexander Arvizu, after a
meeting with the General State Police Director, Hysni Burgaj, appealed
the party supporters to implement the law inn order to have a calm and
peaceful process.
“People express their passion for the candidates they support. So far there have been some incidents, but Director Burgaj guaranteed that he and his staff are dedicated to offer a calm electoral period. Burgaj also mentioned the impartiality of the police in this process. I think that the party supporters can make the police work even easier”, Arvizu declared.
