The United States Ambassador to Tirana, Alexander Arvizu, continued his
line of declarations that reiterate the significance of these elections
for Albania with another declaration that underlines this process.
“These elections will be a test of Albania’s democracy, and it is a test we hope that Albania will pass.”, the Ambassador wrote on his Twitter profile.
Yesterday the United States diplomat appealed for a larger participation in the elections.
“The United States is committed to Albania’s future, and to our Albanian friends. Please vote. Be part of your democracy”, Arvizu declared.
On a post made on June 4th, the United States ambassador appeals for free and honest elections. “The Albanian people deserves a voice. Give them that voice”.
US Embassy: “If we don’t vote, we don’t speak”
“If we don’t vote, we don’t speak”. This was the appeal that the United States Embassy in Albania made to the citizens for the June 23rd elections.
On May 31st the ambassador appealed on “Facebook” for a massive participation in elections.
“This is an electoral period, an exciting moment for Albania. Why you should vote? To be part of democracy”, Arvizu states on Facebook.
