The army started this Saturday an action for cleaning the territory at
the border checkpoints of Han I Hotit, Murriqan, and other national
roads.
“We started this morning with the main entrances to Albania. We will continue in northern Albania and then we will go down to the northwestern coast, from Lezhe to Milot”, declared General Major Jeronim Bazo.
More than 1000 soldiers and 80 vehicles have started an action for cleaning the territory in the main national roads that connect the northern part with the capital. General Mayor Jeronim Bazo says that this civilian military operation aims cleaning the territory and raising awareness among citizens to join in such initiatives for keeping a clean Albania.
“Albania belongs to everyone. Let’s keep it clean. In this case, I appeal to the entire community to follow this message and keep our country clean”, Bazo declared.
The action of the army will continue until the entire territory will be cleaned in the border checkpoints, which are the first sight of foreigners that enter our country.
After Shkoder, the army cleaned areas in Lezhe. Inert materials were thrown in both sides, without any criteria.
The highway and secondary roads were in the focus of this operation. The army has engaged 300 forces in Lezhe, supported by heavy vehicles.
