Heavy vehicles from the Armed Forces and the Ministry of Interior have
worked for more than eight hours to unblock the area of Kurvelesh,
isolated by snow.
Residents say the recent weather conditions have been the most difficult in many years. Farmers have difficulties to feed their cattle, to supply their homes with water, while schools remain closed.
Bekim Murati, Director of Coordination with Prefectures, said the Ministry of Interior and the State Police are standing by for any need.
The Mayor of Tepelena, Termet Peci, said the 500 families of this area will receive food and emergency equipments.
